I don't think a power issue was necessarily what was wrong with the last FC. However, I was only very mildly involved, so I can't say that I'm speaking accurately so if I'm wrong then ignore that portion. What I did feel was a major issue was that everyone was trying to be involved in the same exact plot, when I don't think that was what was needed. For example, I remember one roleplay where the quincy were gonna invade the coven's world and kidnap one of them and stuff and...it was confusing, convoluted, and overall it fell flat because it took more time planning than actually executing. And it became a bigger deal, which I think is more directly related to the "power" portion, in that for some reason the fullbringers and humans weren't seen as legitimate threats to the Coven members, and Shinigami, which I just thought was absolute horseshit. But, if I'm wrong, yet again, then if that's the case then the fullbringers/quincy/etc.. should have never been directly interacting with the Coven in the first place.

Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything on this thread? Because now, they've already been proven incorrect that only pure blooded families-even though it was never exclusive to them in the first place-can perform Bankai. I imagine the issue of Captains only being pureblooded is more politically influenced than based on strength.
Er, well, see I don't think humanity would necessarily like fullbringers and I doubt fullbringers would like humanity. Maybe some who are overly optimistic, but most with common sense wouldn't. Realistically, since a fullbringers powers affect the material world, people can see them. People like that are different and thereby a major threat or asset. Depending on the government, I wouldn't be surprised if most fullbringers were imprisoned and escaped, or if they were being hunted down and killed. That's just my two cents on it though.
